What should I ask?
Pretty simple, ask whatever you want to know about. Try to keep it appropriate, but otherwise, just be yourself!

Q: I'm traveling to San Fran in a few weeks for a work trip. You seem to perform there often. Do you have any restaurants you recommend there that I should try?
A:
Hole in the wall perfection: Tu Lan for Vietnamese (sit at the counter if you can), Lahore Karahi (Pakistani - leave extra time. So slow, but so good). Hit Japantown for noodles and okonimiyaki, get some dim sum in Chinatown, and don't for get to find bahn mi. Use Yelp! And brave the line for morning buns at Tartine. And go to Mitchells for tropical ice creams. Ok?

Q: Great response on contraceptive and I lean right. It got me wondering how you handle the difference in opinion with your audience?Goes too left vs right I guess but is it a challenge to tread lightly?
A:
I don't expect to change anyone's mind, but if I can remind people (both left and right) that we're all actually trying to do the right thing, I think that helps.

Q: While we're being extremely patient for a new album, do you care to tease whether it'll be all new songs or if there'll be some older tunes that haven't yet seen the light of day on album?
A:
I'll probably do a bit of both. Sorry to take so long. 2008-9 were wildly productive...Put out a lot of projects, lost a ton of money on them. Been head shy and retrenching since then. So it goes. There will be lots in the next couple years, though.

Q: My copy of Abulum is from the first pressing. I've heard it was remastered after that batch to sound clearer- is this true? Is it possible the version on bandcamp is different than what I have?
A:
Not remastered. The song Sleep of the Blessed was added, but I think that was the only change.

Q: Glen: Any feeling about Congress hearing debates over law school students and reimbursement for contraception?
A:
There's a lot of distracting details in this debate (as usual). The question is not specifically about contraception, but about how much an organization can limit the services available through their employee insurance based on an overly broad, vague set of criteria. I think those limitations are a bad idea, for a number of reasons.
I'm a little amazed at the sudden controversy about contraception availability. Feels like we've jumped back about 50 years.

A:
Mr Lemons was Neilson Hubbard's studio, named after his deceased miracle cat.

Q: I just purchased the "Coil" CD. How do I get a copy of the hidden track "Silo Lullabye"?
A:
Hm. There is some ancient multimedia thing happening there. I would either double click on the disk and see if there's a folder with a file in there, or look on the interwebs.

Q: Updated my email info, perused my old account & re-found you. Upset I just missed you in Manhattan. WPA packaging reminds me of IWW insignia. Intentional? Does band reflect your political ideologies?
A:
Glad you found it! The art is based on the original posters from the WPA. The Library of Congress has a great online collection if you'd like to see more. And...I am kinda lefty.
